Sat/Sunday ride

Left Worland for Cody this morning. No wind, no freaking out from the back of the bike! Rode through scenic highway Dead Indian Pass into Cooke City. Unbelievable views, sunny skies but cool riding. Had a little nap on the bike (woke up drooling on Mick's jacket) Stopped for BBQ ribs, beans & potato salad...had room for a warm brownie with fudge sauce, thought I'd spoil all my senses on the same day! Back on the road through Yellow Stone, saw my first buffalo, then a whole bunch more. They are huge, and really noisy rolling around on the ground, then shaking off and wandering across the highway. Saw a few pronghorn antelope, coyote and geysers bubbling and steaming...stunk like rotten eggs(Mick claims he never cut one). On to Teton National Park, past Jacksonhole Ski Resort, great place for a winter getaway! Spent the night in Jackson, it was a happenin' place, lots to do, great entertainment and so many places to eat...we were lucky to get a room.
1.sign says it all, also known as Dead Indian Pass

3-4 At the summit of Dead Indian Pass
5. says it all , north east entrance
6,7,8 and 9. in yellowstone park, buffalo were right on the edge of the road, like right on the edge.
10. Lake before Jackson Wyoming.
11. elk antlers stacked in the City of Jackson when you arrive.

Had a sleep in today, on the road at 10:00. Late lunch at roadside cafe, great food again...had to leave some fries & gravy (really tried to finish them but there's only so much room on the bike) Beautiful and warm today,. great while moving but pretty hot while stopping! The scenery changes so drastic, from flat desert into mountain switchbacks. Spotted more pronghorns and scared a good size deer on side of road. (actually, I think it scared me, Mick saw it first!) We are now off the road for another day, staying at a motel in Vernal, Utah
Thought I would throw one of a different scenery in for the boys. lol
