We are home

We had anice boat ride through the San Juan Islands from Anacortes to Sidney BC. Bit of a hassle getting through customs keep asking me about weapons, pistols more weapons, guns, personal security protection and more guns. The fat little bitch did not understand No. She even stated that she new I had guns because I am a registered owner of guns, the answer was still no I didn't fear for my safety, she didn't understand no. We were met at the border by a buddy (lizard) thats what may have prompted all the questions, because they did ask if we were with him. Couldn't really lie we were the only bike coming off the boat. Saw both kids in Victoria and then headed up Island and onto the last cruise to our home....

It was an adventure, our trip, we approached it as an adventure, we rode with great friends and met new friends, it was a time of our lives that we will always cherish and the memories will live forever.! :)

littlecreek casino to anacortes

Well it was a nice ride up the 101 along the hood canal, it was only about two and a half hours, we got a hotel in Anacortes and found a pub to eat at. The Rockfish Grill and Brewery, again food was phenomenal and the beer was brewed right there. We had the stout it was good a little sweet for a stout but good enough to have a couple more glasses with the meal. When we left we picked up a growler of bitter to go. It was really good. Muck around Anacortes alittle then laid by the pool and drank the growler of bitter. Moseyed over to a Thia joint wow the squid was smokin. It was time for bed had to be up at six thirty to catch the boat to Sidney.

florence to don't no

Well don't no really where we are, in Washington at a casino on an Indian reserve on hwy 108. we ran a little bit longer today so we could have an easy day and poke around tomorrow on the Olympic peninsula, so we pulled into the first hotel and this is where we are at.

Well how did today go, it was a nice sunny ride again wooo hooo, little chilly at first then it warmed up, great scenery along the Oregon coast, no fog this time to complain about. But let me tell I gotta bitch about this. We pull into this view point on the coast of Oregon just below Seaside, a mother and daughter rolled in at the same time as us. They kinda panicked, dirty bikers I guess snapped a few shots and bolted. Linda and I sat there and watched they waves crash against the shore, it was very peaceful... listening to mother natures heartbeat..waves crashing wind blowing, beautiful sunny day, THEN all of a sudden, no it wasn't Santa on the roof, it wasn't a bus full of asians... it was six vans full of asians, they jump out ran to the edge and started fucking jibbering and no one was listening. We could no longer hear mother nature, it was just fucking jibberish, I don't understand asian jibberish all that well but I think they were trying to figure out how to get down the bluffs to the beach so they could rape, pillage and plunder all the clams, oysters and seaweed. My anger was starting to take over so I thought it was best we leave. As I fired my Harley up and let it rumble my lovely wife whispers in my ear... rev the shit outta your bike for a bit, then she giggled. Now some of may not understand this so let me put it to simpler terms for you.
YOU HAVE JUST PUT THE BABY DOWN FOR A NAP, YOU ARE LAYING IN BED WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL WIFE, SNUGGLING, KISSING AND JUST GONNA SNEAK OFF A SWEET PIECE OF LOVE MAKING AND THE DOORBELL RINGS WAKES THE BABY UP, AND THERES FUCKING JEHOVAH'S AT THE DOOR, WELL THAT WAS THE ASIANS AT BEACH.... and no weeman went weren't having a piece we were just admiring mother nature at here best.
So we rode a while, my anger calmed down and we stopped at this greasy spoon in Hebo, greatest hamburger ever, had a beer met the owner, some great laughs and now here we are at a First Nations Casino...lol oh ya shucked raw oysters for my dinner and the vallet wouldn't come out and park my bike... hmmmm go figure.

Left San Francisco Saturday morning, grey, cold and kinda nasty for riding. Note to selves....always travel with heated vest or jacket, no matter the time of year! Spent night in Fortuna after some great curvy switchbacks, would have been perfect if a little bit warmer. Continuing North on the 101 Sunday. Blue skies today, beautiful rugged coastlines. Spotted a heard of elk on field next to the highway. Maybe 10 or 12 of them, hard to guess as they were laying down in shadow of the trees. Still meeting up with people that were at Sturgis.... Mick was talking to some guy from Hollister, California. He's an organizer for their ride. Say's he has the only bike shop in town. Continued to ride 'til we got to Florence, about 1 hour North of Coos Bay.

sanfrancisco

Well today was a wild ride, warm and piecefull from Oakdale to Tracey and well after Tracey to San Francisco well lets just say exillerating, intense, wild, four lanes of traffic three more lanes merging in and two exiting off ramps, a bunch of semi's and crosswinds and pothole and uneven pavement everywhere. It was like standing in a swarm of bees and trying no to get stung or in simple terms it was a cluster fuck. The ride from Oakland to Frisco was rather cool the air I mean compared to what we have been riding in. The scenery and bridges as you approach San Francisco was neat, old buildings and everything built on a hillside, it is pretty unique. We were gonna stay out near the airport, about twenty minutes out of town, but we chose to pay a little more for a room and now we are right across from the famous Fisherman's Wharf, right choice. We wandered the piers today tried some cool foods, people watched and had a couple beers. We then decided to get onto one of the cable cars and it took us into downtown SanFrancisco. Now that was and interseting ride up and down the steep hills, was really cool. When we got to the city center we bailed off the cable car and headed into an Irish pub for something to eat, they had a buffet, we weren't impressed but had a look anyways, well let me tell you the corned beef was really tender and delicous along with real mash potatoes and green beans for ten bucks wooohoo, oh ya had to add a Guinness. On our way back to find a cable car home we, well I spotted a Victoria Secret store so we went in wooohooo again. Took the cable car back to fisherman's pier, wondered around, had some oysters in the half shell and crab fritters and then picked up a bottle of wine and now are back at the room.
