Another cool ride this morning, skies kinda threatening but we stayed ahead of the rain. Crossed into Montana, such spectacular sights. The roads ranged from arrow straight to peninsula like turns, from farmlands to twisty mountain tops with cows, buffalo and horses, just roaming around. So surreal for these eyes, yet so full of beauty. Checked out some neat little towns along the way, Mick even found a four legged friend. We are spending the night in Great Falls after a huge dinner of ribs. Won't be any tossing in bed tonight as I ate so much, I won't be able to move!

day three
Today we ran from revelstoke to Calgary, through the rockies was gorgeous, a little cold thought I could have won the pert nipple contest but nah I lost Damm good effort thou, saw some Dall sheep about ten on the side of the highway, moms and little ones. Cool animal overpasses, something maybe BC should think about.
Up early(something to do with the train roaring past the tent) It must be a pre-requisite for KOA's
they all have 'em... An amazing ride to Calgary, loved the scenery, stopped a few times for coffee and lunch. So glad I wore all my layers as I still felt the cold! Checked into our Motel (feels like a 5 star after last night) Soaked in the tub, walked to a sushi bar and gorged ourselves -mmmmm heading towards Montana in the morning, nighty-nite!

day two
We traveled from Mission to Revelstoke today, weather was good except for all the smoke from the forest fires, hazy so far , all the way to revelstoke from Mission. We stopped in spences Bridge at the log cabin pub, had a Bud and a pizza, no Carl a beer, nice message on the shitter wall between the urinals. lol:) Not many senic pictures were taken. Got within a mile of Sicamous there was a very bad accident on the bridge so had to go back to Salmon arm and and then to Enderby and detour arond that way tothe backside of Sicamous to get here. Detour took about an hour and a half but was a scenic drive. At our campsite it is right beside the train tracks, whats with KOA's

Day one Aug 1st
Today we travelled to the Vancouver Island to see the kids before we get underway. Our first cruise was on a rusty tub of a ferry from Powell River to Comox. Not a bad cruise except for some dick cutting the ferry off and the captain going nutso on the airhorn. Then there were these four people talking and not one of them was listening, I swear they all had ears on their tongues. It was a nice ride down the Island Highway, Nanaimo was typical shitty cold weather on the upper bypass. Saw the kids and went to Boston Pizza for lunch. Almost got run over by a city bus changing four lanes at once, go figure. Our second cruise was on a nicer boat you could even get your toes and finger nails done.Baaahahahaa.
Sad part of the cruise was we were the minorities on the boat, kinda felt like a refugee. Traffic from the ferry to our favorite friends in Mission was pretty good for city traffic.
Oh ya we met Heyzuses brother today even got a picture.
