pig spit

Well the pig spit is done, first night shift of two tonight and then off to sturgis. woohoo. Here is the pig spit and the friend who coaxed me into building it for him (us) lol. The spit is gonna be used for his parents fiftith wedding anniversary, and well, I like his mom and dad so I had no problems building it, I just liked to piss and moan at Terry a little. He just has to paint it, clean the inside a little and it will be ready to cook on, He is going to give it a whirl next week and hopefully he will post comments on how well it works. Now All I have to do is start and finish the honey do list. Only two days till we leave.

Summer Stomp Salmon Arm 2010

A few pics from our ride to the Stomp in Salmon Arm in July 2010, with buddies Carl and Kevin.
First pic is of the local moto kids performing a few jumps to wooo the crowd, the second pic is of our buddy Kevin he went into the beer drinking contest and won his heat but he was to busy looking around and forgot to hold his cup upside down over his head, so he lost go figure. He is easily distracted (squirrel ) lol. Third pic is me eating a monstrous bratwurst dog from Steve's kitchen man it was delicious. Well the forth pic says it all Carl sleeping in his tent. I tried to explain to Carl and Kevin that there were no campsites at the stomp, you just stake a place in the bush and that's where you put your gear. He thought that he was going to sleep under a picnic table, didn't happen but he got to sleep under the stars, that's the real bonus.Baaaahaaaa.
The last pic is of the young kids some more jump. The were pretty good at it. And for you out there looking for other stomp pics well not happening.
